Catholic bishops: Health care a 'moral right'

"Kentucky and the nation have a moral obligation to improve a situation in which millions of people lack health care and many more face cuts in Medicaid services, the state's Roman Catholic bishops said yesterday. "
I agree. Health Care for all, or Health Care for none. Anything else sounds too much like Lazarus at the gate. However I have no idea how to make this happen. Perhaps someone much smarter than me will come up with a plan.
For the time being, the Bishop's suggestions are quite mild:
"The bishops acknowledged the need for "an incremental approach to reforming health care" and called for such short-term changes as reforming coverage for children, helping small-business owners afford coverage for their employees, and providing tax credits or subsidies for individuals purchasing insurance."
All very doable.
